You are invited on an adventure ... to discover the glory God has hidden in plain sight.

Come and see!

Common Good

It all started as an accident ... serendipity really.  Macro photography was a new discovery for me, and the best images were coming from simple play.

Then one day, it came to my heart to look around the kitchen for things to photograph, and I stumbled across an old copper dish scrubber.  Why didn't I throw this away long ago I do not know.

I put it in front of my macro lens with a simple overhead lamp ... and something beautiful emerged.  Even being dirty and used, that scrubber was fascinating up close.

This was where Common Good was birthed.

Through this and other images, God began showing me that there is a "common" beauty all around us ... so much of it that we all take it for granted and do not even see it.

In 2 Kings 6:15-17, the prophet Elisha asks God to open the eyes of his servant so he can see in the natural realm the angelic forces surrounding them and protecting them.  Those angelic forces were there all along, but just not seen in the natural realm until they were revealed.

Common Good is about sharing macro photography that reveals the macro-level beauty of the world around us.

I hope you stay and enjoy.
